Uniform illumination of the hall is essential for an excellent overview of the entire playing field. Volleyball and basketball have specific requirements that must be considered to ensure playing comfort and safety.
Special features of lighting volleyball and basketball fields
- Volleyball: To avoid glare when looking at high balls, the lights should not be mounted in the area of the ceiling that is directly above the playing field. This protects players from annoying light reflections and improves the view of the ball.
- Baseball: No lights should be installed above the basketball hoops within a radius of four meters. This prevents glare and ensures clear visibility when throwing and rebounding.
